Modern Made Memphis (M3) has an opportunity to host a popup shop in Saddle Creek Nov 25 – Dec 24th, 2017. Our tentative location is the space between Origins and White House/Black Market in the Shops of Saddle Creek.

In fitting with the Saddle Creek center, the vision for this popup called GIFT is a gift shop full of upscale local/handmade brands that are retail-ready meaning your product is professionally branded and packaged. Saddle Creek has the highest sales / sq.ft. in Greater Memphis area.

What We’e Looking For

As a holiday gift destination we’re looking for goods handmade or designed by someone in our local area that make great gifts.  To us Local means the Midsouth – West TN, North Mississippi, & Eastern Arkansas. In previous Christmas popups our top-selling categories have been jewelry, bath & body, outerwear – hats, scarves, etc., and food items. We are looking for upscale goods that look professionally-packaged.

  • Reclaim your time. You don’t have to man a booth or work in the store so you’re free to produce more inventory or enjoy the season
  • Give your local customers a convenient place to pickup items ordered from your website
  • Custom Order Service. If you do custom orders, we will have customers fill out a special order form and email you with the order. You make it and have the customer pick it up in the shop.

 

Important Dates & Times

  •  Oct 1st – Applications Open
  • Oct 15th – Applications Close
  • Nov 1st – Online/Mobile App seller spreadsheets
  • Nov 15th – Inventory spreadsheets due
  • Nov 18th – Seller Drop-Off, hours TBD
  • Nov 24th – Black Friday Preview Night
  • Nov 25th – Amex Small Business Saturday – Grand Opening
  • Dec 24th – Last day of business – Close at 2pm on Christmas Eve
  • Dec 27th – Seller Pickup, hours TBD

 

 Store Hours

  • Sunday – 12pm to 5pm
  • Monday – Saturday 10am to 8pm
  • Preview Night Friday 11/24 – open 5pm – 8pm
  • Christmas Even – open 10am to 2pm

 

Seller Fees

All spots are filled but you can apply to be on our waitlist should we have any cancellations or No Show’s. 

The seller fees for the popup represent a share of the total cost to operate the store and based on the commission rate on each item sold.

There are a limited number of slots in each category in each level so apply early to guarantee you get your chosen slot. The deadline to apply was Oct 15th.

  • Application Fee – $15 – waived if you’ve sold with us in the past
  • M3 will pay sellers the proceeds from the sale of their goods less any commissions on December 15th and January 5th. You can choose to receive your funds via check or PayPal
